A journalist from Kazakhstan: 'To see the work behind-the-scenes'
On May 13 Moscow welcomed the participants of the new session of the SputnikPro CIS project which will take place until May 17. 20 journalists from the Near Abroad visited Sputnik's newsroom and attended unique lectures about latest online tools for journalists.
For Limara Udasova, a journalist at Kazakhstan's news website "Elorda Akparat", participation in SputnikPro CIS is proving quite useful.
"I found myself in SputnikPro because I'm the youngest in my team. Here, in the project, all participants are aged 25-35," she says. "I think because of this we instantly got along quite well. The program is very interesting and it will be very useful in the future, notwithstanding the area one is working in. It's important to see the work behind-the-scenes." The SputnikPro CIS program will feature a lot of interesting events: meetings with representatives of the Russian Federation Council and the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, a boat trip and visits Moscow's main parks.
SputnikPro is a unique joint project by Rossotrudnichestvo and Sputnik international news agency which was founded in 2015. Since then the project featured more than 10 events which saw the presence of hundreds of representatives of leading media outlets from all around the world.
